Hi guyz its bin so long That i wanted to write something on voice overs, but really dint had time, and now i am happy that today i got some time to write my words on voice overs/acting. Today i am going to write something very basic on it ok lets start..............what is voice over or voice acting?
I bet this is one Highly paid job or fun and i too bet it is highly complicated when u begin,
voice acting ,dubbings are little diffrent than voice overs, voice overs are lill simpler, here u dont have to have acting skills, or subjective knowledge(not allways true), just u need to read the content given to u with some good modulations, with confidance and u can be succesfull without knowing that subject matter of the content, it is that simple, some examples for voice overs , documentaries, presentaions, corporate presentaions ect,
The confidant voice and the Xfactor of your voice will take u faar away, and allways practice make man/woman perfect...
voice acting is lill complicated and creative job, u need to practice some drama, play, good humer, and need to have lot of variations in your voice, the voices in cartoons, animations and in some films are given by voice actors, for example incredibles a animated moovie in hindi u can hear Mr king khans voice i mean sharukh khan had lent his voice for the main animated charector, it is that challeging, some more exmaples for voice acting are theatre background voice, radio jingels, video jingels, advertisemnets, ect
who can be voicer over artist or actor?
Any one in this world male, female, young or old the only thing he/she needs
a Good/diffrent/cool/confidant voice.
Is this is a full time job?
It may be it may not be, better make this proffession part time first, know your market and the deamand and learn, trust me This proffession is Best for part time, u can earn more than your full time job and its fun too.
what shall i have to become voice over actor/artist?
A good Voice, and a demo CD/DVD recorded in a good sound proof studio with many variations and modulations on diffrent and suited subjects.
Tips
There are many sites which provides you a platform to market your voice and gives you the broder exposure, like this one here , when i started marketing my self i made my home page on this site, it never gave me business hahahaha but gave me Lot of exposure and that helped me to market myself in local industry u can try it, its not bad.
